It's all about the motions...

Ever stop in the middle of your day - or at the beginning or end of your day, makes no-never-mind to me - and say, out loud, what you're going to do that day?

1. Take a shower
2. Brush teeth
3. Class and/or Work
4. Dinner
5. Homework
6. Down time (maybe?)
7. Sleep
8. Repeat...

Not a bad day, huh?

OF COURSE IT'S BAD
!! What a horrible day! Awful! And this is what my days are like Monday to Friday. Depressing, right?

Now, ask yourselves: What do you REALLY want to do with 8 hours everyday? Don't give me some bullshit answers like sleep or drink...we all need more of that. Really though, what do you want to do? What do you want to see? What do you want to happen? What shouldn't be happening? What can you do? I'm positive the latter question has crossed all of our minds, and it scares me shitless into doing nothing because what could I possibly accomplish? Everything my friends. Everything. We're an innovative generation; if we really want something, we'll get it. And we'll fight, kicking and screaming until we get it. But unfortunately, we haven't found that one, unifying ideal/icon/symbol/person/what-have-you that will make us lose our shit throwing temper-tantrums to get our way. We're all going through the motions, playing it safe, waiting until someone will bail us out of the pile of shit we've gotten ourselves into. That's all we're doing: waiting.
No more waiting boys and girls. No more standing around twiddling our thumbs. No more bidding our time. Our generation inherited this mess and we're the only ones who can pick up the pieces.

The "how's" will come later. But right now,

What do you want to do?
